OnlyFans alternatives — the three that are actually worth moving to
Most lists of OnlyFans alternatives are twenty platforms deep and useless. Three are worth your time, they win on different things, and which one is right for you depends on a single question.
Disclosure: some links on this page are referral links. If you sign up through one we may be paid a commission by the platform, at no extra cost to you. We rank platforms on their terms, not their payouts — here is how.

Not sure which describes you? The earnings calculator shows what each platform would pay you on the same revenue, and the full reasoning is below.
Why most of these lists are useless
Search this term and you will get lists of twenty platforms. They pad the count with platforms that have no adult policy clarity, no meaningful user base, or no payout track record, because a twenty-item list ranks better than a three-item one.
Three alternatives are worth your time. They win on genuinely different things, which is good news: it means the decision is usually clear once you know which problem you are solving.

First, the question that decides it
Do you already have an audience you can redirect?
If yes, you are choosing on terms, because you supply the traffic either way. Go to Fanvue for the promotional 85% first year, or LoyalFans if referral income is a meaningful part of your plan.
If no, you are choosing on discovery, and only one platform here offers any. Go to Fansly.
Everything below is detail on those three answers.
Fansly — the closest replacement, and the only one with discovery
Fansly is where creators leaving OnlyFans actually go, for two reasons that compound.
The interface, subscription model and messaging mechanics map almost one-to-one onto OnlyFans, so there is nothing to relearn for you or your fans. And the path is well-trodden enough that a meaningful share of fans already have a Fansly account from following somebody else — asking someone to sign up somewhere they already are is a fundamentally easier request than asking them to be your one friend on an unfamiliar platform.
Its real distinction is discovery. Tag-based browsing puts a well-tagged profile in front of people looking at that tag, producing a genuine trickle of subscribers who arrived on their own. It is a trickle rather than a firehose — nobody builds a business on it alone — but every other platform on this page offers nothing at all, and the difference between something and nothing is enormous when you are starting.
Add free-tier profiles with paid unlocks and multiple subscription tiers on one profile, and you have the platform best suited to building rather than transplanting an audience.
The weakness: Fansly does not publish its referral terms anywhere public, and third-party sources split between 12 months and lifetime. Join it for fans, not commission.
Fanvue — the best terms, if you bring the audience
Fanvue’s pitch is that it treats creators better, and on the evidence that is broadly honest.
The headline is the promotional rate: newly signed-up creators keep 85% for their first 12 months against the flat 80% everywhere else. On $3,000 a month gross that is about $1,800 across the year. Support responsiveness is noticeably better than larger platforms bother with, and crypto payouts give you a second independent route to getting paid — worth more than it sounds if your bank has been difficult about adult-adjacent income.
Two things to go in knowing.
The promotional rate is explicitly temporary. Fanvue’s own earnings policy describes promotional rates as something it may “introduce, update, extend, reduce, or withdraw”, and the cohort that joined on 85% in 2022 has already been moved to the standard 80%. Plan on 80%.
And discovery is close to zero. Fanvue has a browsable surface, but for most niches it delivers almost nothing. Every subscriber will be one you brought.
LoyalFans — the one to pick if you refer other creators
The smallest platform here, and the one with terms nothing else matches.
LoyalFans’ referral commission is described as lifetime — 5% of a referred creator’s earnings for as long as they keep earning, with no published cap — against 12 months capped at $50,000 on both OnlyFans and Fanvue. It is also reportedly funded from the LoyalFans platform cut rather than the referred creator’s earnings, which means you can accurately tell a creator that signing up through your link costs them nothing. And it pays on referred fans as well as referred creators, the only program of the four that does.
The catch is size. The fan base is the smallest of the four and brand recognition is low enough that some fans hesitate at the payment step. This is a poor first platform and an unusually good second one, particularly for live and audio creators, where the scene is tightly networked and referrals happen naturally.
The referral programs, side by side
If part of why you are leaving OnlyFans is its referral program, this table is the whole argument.
| Platform | Rate | Pays for | Cap | Paid out of |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| LoyalFans | 5% Reported | Lifetime Reported | No published cap Reported | The platform's cut Reported |
| Fanvue | 5% Official | 12 months Official | $50,000 per creator Official | Sources contradict each other Disputed |
| Fansly | 5% Disputed | 12 months Disputed | No published cap Disputed | Sources contradict each other Disputed |
| OnlyFans | 5% Reported | 12 months Reported | $50,000 per creator Reported | The platform's cut Reported |
All four pay 5%. The columns after that are where the money is: LoyalFans is lifetime and uncapped, the other three are twelve months, and Fanvue’s widely republished “36 months” is not what its own policy says.
The cautionary tale that should shape your plan
OnlyFans advertised its referral commission as LIFETIME, in capital letters, from 2016, and wrote it into its terms of service. On 1 May 2020 an email cut it to 12 months and capped it at $50,000 per referred creator — applied retroactively. On 12 August 2026, two referrers who say they recruited more than 6,700 creators between them filed a class action over that change (case 8:26-cv-02189, Central District of California), pleading more than $5,000,000 at stake. The allegations are unproven.
The lesson is not “avoid OnlyFans”. It is that no platform’s terms are permanent, screenshots taken on day one are the only evidence you will ever have, and referral income concentrated on one program is a business with a single point of failure.
What about everything else on the usual lists?
Briefly, so you can stop looking.
Platforms without a clear published adult content policy are a liability regardless of how good the split looks — the policy is what determines whether your account survives its first review. Platforms without a documented payout track record are worse: the split is irrelevant if getting money out is unreliable. And platforms with genuinely tiny user bases combine the worst of both, because you are supplying 100% of the traffic while carrying 100% of the platform risk.
The three above clear all of those bars. Most of the other seventeen on a typical list do not, which is why they are on the list.
Do not migrate. Add.
The most common expensive mistake in this whole category is treating a platform change as a switch.
Creators who close an OnlyFans page and announce a new platform typically lose a large share of paying subscribers, because a meaningful fraction of fans will not re-enter card details anywhere for anyone. That loss is immediate and permanent; the better terms accrue slowly.
Running both is strictly better. Your OnlyFans page keeps converting the fans who will not move, the new platform captures new revenue on better terms, and you stop being one policy update away from a bad quarter. If you genuinely want to leave, do it over months and let fans move at their own pace — the migration guide covers the sequencing that loses the fewest.
The short answer
- No audience yet → Fansly. Discovery does the hardest part.
- Audience, want better terms → Fanvue. Take the 85% year.
- Referring other creators → LoyalFans. Lifetime, uncapped, funded from the platform’s cut.
- Already earning well → add one of the above and keep OnlyFans running.

Common questions
What is the best OnlyFans alternative in 2026?
Fansly, for most creators. It is the closest like-for-like replacement, it is the only platform of the four with in-platform discovery that reliably converts, and enough creators have made the move that many fans already have an account. Fanvue is the better choice if you have an established audience and want its promotional 85% first-year rate, and LoyalFans is the better choice if referral income matters more than reach.
Do OnlyFans alternatives pay better?
Only temporarily. Fansly and LoyalFans take 20%, exactly the same as OnlyFans. Fanvue takes 20% as standard but runs a promotional 15% for a newly signed-up creator's first 12 months, which is worth about $1,800 on $3,000 a month of gross earnings. After the first year, every platform here pays identically.
Will my subscribers follow me if I leave OnlyFans?
Some will, many will not. A meaningful share of fans will not re-enter card details anywhere for anyone, and creators who switch abruptly commonly lose between half and three quarters of their paying subscribers. Run both platforms in parallel for at least one full billing cycle and give fans a concrete reason to move rather than asking them to as a favour.
Which OnlyFans alternative is best for beginners?
Fansly. If nobody knows your name yet, your problem is discovery rather than fee splits, and Fansly is the only platform of the four that helps with it. Its free-tier profiles also let you build a follower count and social proof before asking anyone to pay, which is the step most new creators stall on.
Is it worth being on more than one platform?
For most creators earning consistently, yes. Concentration on a single platform is the risk that ends creator businesses — deactivations are hard to appeal and terms change by email. A verified, content-bearing second account is cheap insurance and can pay for itself, especially if you take Fanvue's promotional first-year rate on it.
