How much to charge for sexting
What creators charge for paid sexting by the minute, by the message and by the session, how the tip caps shape it, and which platform makes it easiest to sell.

Sexting is priced three ways: by the minute, by the message, and by the "set" — a sequence of locked messages that escalates in price. The per-minute guides agree with each other closely, which is unusual for this topic and why the range is marked Reported.
The mechanism matters more than the rate. None of the four platforms bills by the minute for text, so a per-minute price is really a per-session price: fifteen minutes at $3 is a $45 tip or locked message. The tip caps on OnlyFans decide how long a session can be before it has to be split.
What creators charge
$2–$5 per minute Reported The two guides that price by the minute both land at $1–$5, with $2–$5 the overlap. Most creators sell it as a fixed block, so a 15-minute session at these rates is $30–$75. Source: Aruna Talent — custom content pricing · checked 2026-09-16
What the published sources say
Every figure that fed the range above, in the source's own units, so you can see the spread rather than take our word for the summary. Agency guides are labelled as such: they describe managed creators with large audiences and tend to run high.
| Source | Figure | Covers | Dated |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aruna Talent — custom content pricing | Sexting $2–$5 per minute; voice notes $5–$15 each | Agency guide, based on its own clients | 2026-03-04 |
| Premium.Chat — getting paid to sext | $1–$5 per minute for most operators; new operators advised to start at $1.50–$2.50 | Premium.Chat's own per-minute platform, not the four reviewed here | 2026 |
| Pippin Club — creator pricing survey | Most common price for the first message of a sexting set: $6–$10 (40%); a full set most commonly earns $101–$250 (31%) | Survey of "hundreds" of creators; sample size and dates not disclosed | 2024-10-11 |

What each platform lets you charge
The floor and cap each platform sets on the mechanism you would use to sell sexting sessions. Only Fanvue publishes its limits on a public page; the rest are marked Reported because they come from consistent third-party guides rather than the platform.
| Platform | How you sell it | Published limit |
|---|---|---|
| LoyalFans Built in | Paid DMs and tips. | Up to $500 Reported |
| Fanvue Built in | Pay-to-view messages and tips. | Not published Reported |
| Fansly Built in | Locked messages and tips, with an optional per-message tip requirement to open a DM. | $1–$500 Reported |
| OnlyFans Built in | Paid via tips or a sequence of PPV messages. | Up to $200 Reported |
- LoyalFans. Third-party reporting gives a $500 ceiling on individual content sales. LoyalFans' help centre could not be read at the time of checking, so the floor is unpublished as far as we can tell. Source , checked 2026-09-16.
- Fanvue. Fanvue publishes a $3–$500 range for priced posts but no separate figure for pay-to-view messages or tips. Source , checked 2026-09-16.
- Fansly. Fansly does not publish its limits on a public page; this range is the one third-party guides consistently give for locked media. Source , checked 2026-09-16.
- OnlyFans. A fan can tip at most $100 per transaction for their first four months on the platform, then $200. Source , checked 2026-09-16.
What moves the price
- Format. A locked-message set earns more per session than a flat per-minute tip, because each message is a separate purchase decision.
- Media in the thread. The survey's $101–$250 per set is text plus locked photos and clips. Text alone sits at the bottom of the range.
- Voice. Voice notes are priced separately at $5–$15 each and lift a session's total without adding much time.
- Tip caps. On OnlyFans a fan can tip $100 (first four months) or $200 per transaction, so a longer session is sold as several tips or a locked set.
What you keep
All four platforms take 20%, so the number that actually differs between two prices is what you earn per hour of your own time. Change the figures to match your menu.
| Platform | You keep | Per sale, after commission | Per hour of your time |

| LoyalFans | 80% | $2 | $144 |

Where to sell it: Fansly
Fansly lets you require a tip to message you at all, which turns the DM inbox into a paid channel before a session even starts. It is the closest any of the four gets to a per-message billing model.
Free-follower profiles mean the people messaging you are not limited to paying subscribers, so the pool of potential sexting buyers is larger than on a paywalled page.
Fansly
The closest thing to a like-for-like OnlyFans replacement, with better in-platform discovery and tiered subscriptions.
You keep 80% · sexting sessions: $1–$500 · verified 2026-08-16.
Runner-up: OnlyFans
The biggest DM-spending audience of the four. The $100–$200 tip cap is the only constraint, and locked-message sets route around it.
What to watch out for
- Price the session, not the minute, in what you tell the fan. "15 minutes for $45" closes; "$3 a minute" invites a negotiation.
- Take the payment first. Every platform's messaging supports a tip or locked message before the conversation starts.
- Agencies often outsource this to chatters paid $3–$12 an hour. If you are considering an agency, that is the margin they are keeping.

Common questions
How much do creators charge for sexting?
The guides that price by the minute give $1–$5, with $2–$5 the range they overlap on. Sold as a block, a 15-minute session at those rates is $30–$75. A survey of creators found a full locked-message sexting set most commonly earns $101–$250 once photos and clips are included.
Can I charge per minute on OnlyFans or Fansly?
Not automatically. Neither bills text by the minute. You quote a session length and take it as a tip or a locked message up front, which is what the per-minute guides assume you will do.
How does the tip cap affect sexting?
On OnlyFans a fan can tip at most $100 per transaction in their first four months and $200 after that. A session priced above that is sold as more than one tip, or as a sequence of locked messages, which most guides prefer anyway.
