How much to charge for a video call
What creators charge per minute for one-to-one video calls, why the survey data sits above the guides, and why only one of the four platforms can bill a call natively.

Video calls are the highest-paid minute a creator can sell, and the hardest to bill. Only LoyalFans of the four platforms reviewed here has a built-in one-to-one call with a per-minute rate you set. Everywhere else the call runs on Zoom, Meet or Discord and the money is taken as a tip or PPV message first.
The guides cluster at $2–$10 a minute. The one survey we found says creators actually charge about double that for a short call. Both can be true: a ten-minute minimum at $5 is $50, and a five-minute call at $75 is $15 a minute. Short calls are priced per call, not per minute.

What each platform lets you charge
The floor and cap each platform sets on the mechanism you would use to sell video calls. Only Fanvue publishes its limits on a public page; the rest are marked Reported because they come from consistent third-party guides rather than the platform.

What moves the price
- Minimum length. Every guide sets a 10–15 minute minimum, so the entry price is $30–$150 per call.
- Scarcity. AtomChat's finding is that shorter, dearer calls convert better than long cheap ones. Availability is part of the price.
- Recording. Letting the fan keep a recording adds $50–$100 in SirenCY's figures.
- Billing method. Native per-minute billing (LoyalFans) removes the overrun problem. A pre-paid block on an outside app means either cutting the call off or working unpaid.

All four platforms take 20%, so the number that actually differs between two prices is what you earn per hour of your own time. Change the figures to match your menu.

Where to sell it: LoyalFans
It is the only one of the four that bills a live call by the minute inside the platform. The fan is charged as the call runs, so there is no pre-paid block to overrun, no outside app, and the chargeback protection covers the call itself.
Its reported $1–$30 per-minute range covers the whole market range and the survey figures above it. And LoyalFans is already the top of our ranking on terms, so recommending it here costs nothing in consistency.

The smallest platform here and the only one whose referral commission is credibly lifetime — which changes the maths entirely if you refer creators who stay.

Runner-up: OnlyFans
Not for the feature, which it lacks, but for the audience. The workaround of taking a PPV payment and running the call on an outside app is well documented, and OnlyFans fans are the most numerous and the most used to paying.
What to watch out for
- On any platform without native calls, take the full payment before sending a link. Every guide says so; it is also the platform's condition for keeping your account.
- Do not move the payment off-platform to avoid the 20%. Arranging paid calls outside the platform you found the fan on is a ban on all four.
- A call is real time. At $5 a minute and 80% retained, a ten-minute call pays $40. Price the minimum accordingly.
