Who runs CamGuides, what it is for, and why it exists at all.

What this is

CamGuides is a research site about the platforms creators use to sell subscriptions and content directly to fans: OnlyFans, Fanvue, Fansly and LoyalFans. We cover fee splits, payout mechanics, referral programs and the practical question underneath all of them — which platform is the right one for your specific situation.

Why it exists

Search for any of these platforms and you will find dozens of pages repeating the same figures, most of them copied from each other and several of them wrong. Fee splits get quoted years out of date. Referral durations get inflated. Promotional rates get presented as permanent terms. None of these pages tell you where the number came from or when anyone last checked it.

That is a genuine cost to creators, because these are decisions with real money attached. A platform's referral window being 12 months rather than 36 is the difference between two very different plans. So every figure here carries its source and the date we checked it, and where sources disagree we show the disagreement rather than picking whichever number reads better.

How it is funded

CamGuides is an independent site, funded by referral commission from some of the platforms covered — the disclosure page lists exactly which links earn and which do not, and the methodology page explains how we keep that separate from the rankings.

What we do not cover

This is a text and research site for creators. We host no adult content, no galleries and no creator directories. We do not publish anything about individual creators, and we do not accept paid placement of any kind.

Corrections

If a figure here is wrong — especially if your own creator dashboard says something different from what we have published — tell us. Dashboard terms beat our research, and we would rather be corrected than confidently wrong.
