How much to charge for custom photos
What a custom photo or photo set sells for, why one guide says $3 and another says $30, and what each platform lets you charge for it.

Custom photos are priced two ways, and the guides that seem to disagree are mostly using different units. Per-photo pricing with a minimum order gives you $3–$8 a photo but $20–$30 a sale. Per-set pricing gives you $50–$100 for five to ten photos, which is the same money.
What does not vary is that a single custom photo sells for less than a minute of custom video, and that the personalisation, not the photo, is what the fan is paying for.

What each platform lets you charge
The floor and cap each platform sets on the mechanism you would use to sell custom photos. Only Fanvue publishes its limits on a public page; the rest are marked Reported because they come from consistent third-party guides rather than the platform.

What moves the price
- Set size. Sets of five to ten sell at $50–$100 across every guide, which is a lower per-photo price than singles and a higher ticket.
- Personalisation. A name written on paper or skin roughly doubles the price of the same photo.
- Explicitness. FollowMint prices explicit customs at about twice non-explicit ones.
- Turnaround. Rush delivery is +50–100% in SirenCY's figures, the steepest rush premium of any item here.

All four platforms take 20%, so the number that actually differs between two prices is what you earn per hour of your own time. Change the figures to match your menu.

Where to sell it: Fansly
Custom photos are an impulse purchase from fans who already message you, and Fansly's free-follower model plus per-message tip gating produces more of those conversations than a hard paywall does.
A set priced at the top of the range still sits far below any platform's cap, so caps do not decide this one. Volume of messaging fans does.

The largest paying audience and the least friction at checkout. If your fans are already there, a $10–$30 custom photo is comfortably inside the $200 cap and sells in one tap.
What to watch out for
- Set a minimum order. Every guide does, because a single $5 photo costs more of your time to deliver than it pays.
- Photos are trivially re-shared. If you are selling exclusivity, price it and say so; if you are not, assume the photo will travel.
- The 20% comes off every sale. A $20 custom is $16 to you.
