AI content rules on OnlyFans, Fanvue, Fansly and LoyalFans, side by side
One platform welcomes fully AI-generated creators, Fansly bans photorealistic AI outright (LoyalFans reportedly does too), and OnlyFans is tightening its rule on 1 November. This is what each platform's own text says about AI models, AI-edited photos, labelling and AI chat, quoted and dated.

What this page is based on
Each platform’s own rules, read on 18 and 19 October 2026, except where a row says reported. OnlyFans’ November rule comes from press reports of its 1 October email, because its public terms page still shows the August 2024 version. LoyalFans’ policy page loads by script and we could not read it, so its rules come from one secondary source. We will re-check both and log changes on the terms tracker.
The rules at a glance
| Platform | Fully AI-generated creator | AI-made or AI-edited content of you | Label | AI replying to fans |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Fanvue | Allowed, with disclosure | Allowed, with disclosure | ”Clear and prominent disclosure”, e.g. a watermark, caption or bio statement | No specific rule found |
| OnlyFans | Not ruled out today if captioned. From 1 November, reportedly not allowed | Allowed if captioned | #ai, #AIGenerated or similar, “clearly and conspicuously” | No specific rule found in the public terms |
| Fansly | Only if not photorealistic, and registered under your real identity | Not allowed if photorealistic and “substantially generated” by AI | A label does not make photorealistic AI allowed | Not allowed “without human oversight” |
| LoyalFans (reported) | Photorealistic: not allowed | Photorealistic and substantially AI-made: not allowed | No label rule reported | Not allowed without human oversight |
The split is simple. If you are building a synthetic character, Fanvue is the only platform here whose rules say yes. If you are a real creator using AI to edit or extend your own content, OnlyFans and Fanvue allow it with a label, and Fansly and LoyalFans draw the line at photorealistic material that is mostly AI-made.
Fanvue: allowed, if it is disclosed
Fanvue’s community guidelines open their AI section with “Users may post AI-generated content on the Platform subject to the following conditions”:
- Disclosure. “All AI-generated media must include a clear and prominent disclosure (e.g., watermark, caption, accompanying message or bio statement).” The same applies to profile and discovery images.
- No impersonation. Content “must not be misleading, harmful, or used to impersonate real individuals other than the account owner.”
- Consent for deepfakes. “Deepfaked or AI-replicated media must not be published without the documented consent and identity verification of the original individual depicted.”
- No resemblance to minors. “Prompt text or disclaimers are not sufficient to overcome visual resemblance to individuals under 18.”
Breaking these can mean content removal, a temporary suspension or a permanent ban, “depending on the severity of the breach”. Fanvue also builds AI into the product: its own voice calls are an AI clone of your voice, and its terms say Fanvue moderates content from its built-in AI tools before it goes live.
OnlyFans: labelled today, tied to you from 1 November
The current terms, last updated in August 2024, say: “AI Generated content must comply with our Terms of Service and must be clearly and conspicuously captioned as AI Generated Content with a signifier such as #ai, or #AIGenerated.” They do not say whose likeness it must show.
The new terms, reported for 1 November 2026, keep the label and add that AI-generated, altered or enhanced content must “clearly feature the verified Creator” (Supercreator). A fully synthetic model would no longer fit, and nor would AI content of anyone other than you. Supercreator also reports a new clause that content may not be used to train AI systems. Our guide to the November terms sets each reported change against today’s wording.
Fansly: no photorealistic AI, and a person in every chat
Fansly’s help article AI-generated content on Fansly, updated 8 July 2026, is the strictest text of the four. “Photorealistic AI-generated content is not allowed on Fansly. Additionally, labeling content as AI-generated does not make photorealistic or lifelike AI content permissible.”
It quotes the terms, which bar three uses of AI:
- “photorealistic or lifelike content that is substantially generated or created through artificial intelligence, including deepfakes, face-swapped content, or synthetic media designed to appear as real humans”;
- “content where artificial intelligence systems directly interact with Users to generate personalized responses, imagery, or experiences without human oversight”;
- “any content that misrepresents AI-generated material as authentic human performance or creation”.
A non-photorealistic virtual persona is allowed, but you register and verify with your own legal identity and run the persona from that account.
LoyalFans: reportedly the same bans as Fansly
SirenCY’s LoyalFans vs OnlyFans comparison, dated 1 October 2026, reports that LoyalFans’ acceptable use policy, last updated in July 2026, prohibits photorealistic content “substantially generated by AI”, AI that talks to fans “without human oversight”, and AI material “passed off as genuine human performance”. That matches Fansly’s wording closely. We could not read LoyalFans’ own page to confirm it, so treat this row as reported.
The EU AI Act
Since 2 August 2026, Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act requires anyone who publishes a “deep fake” in the course of their work to “disclose that the content has been artificially generated or manipulated”. The Act defines a deep fake as AI-generated or manipulated image, audio or video that resembles real people, places or events and “would falsely appear to a person to be authentic or truthful”. It applies to creators based in the EU, and to those outside it whose content is seen there.
The separate duty to tell people they are talking to an AI, in Article 50(1), falls on the companies that build chat tools, not on the creator using one. The platform rules above go further than the Act in any case. This is a summary, not legal advice.
Which platform, if you use AI
- A fully AI-generated character. Fanvue, with a disclosure on every post and in your bio. On OnlyFans the new terms reportedly rule it out from 1 November.
- Your own content, edited or extended with AI. OnlyFans or Fanvue, labelled. On Fansly and LoyalFans, keep it short of photorealistic and mostly AI-made.
- An AI chat assistant. On Fansly and LoyalFans, a person must check what it sends. On any platform, tell fans that a team or tool helps you reply. Being caught passing off automated messages as you is a trust problem before it is a rules problem.
- Running more than one platform. A synthetic or heavily AI-made catalogue cannot simply be mirrored across all four. Check each platform’s rule before you add a second platform.

Common questions
Which platform allows AI-generated creators?
Fanvue. Its community guidelines say "Users may post AI-generated content", on condition that it carries "a clear and prominent disclosure", does not impersonate real people other than the account owner, and that AI-generated people do not resemble minors. Fansly allows only non-photorealistic virtual creators, and OnlyFans' reported 1 November terms require AI content to feature the verified creator.
Does Fansly allow AI content?
Not if it is photorealistic. Fansly's help centre says "Photorealistic AI-generated content is not allowed on Fansly" and that labelling it "does not make photorealistic or lifelike AI content permissible". A non-photorealistic virtual persona is allowed, registered under your real legal identity.
Can I use an AI chat tool to reply to fans?
On Fansly, not without a person checking: its terms bar AI that interacts with fans "without human oversight". LoyalFans reportedly has the same rule. OnlyFans' public terms and Fanvue's policies have no specific rule on AI chat that we could find, but both ban misleading fans, so check before you rely on one.
Do I have to label AI content under EU law?
Possibly. From 2 August 2026, Article 50(4) of the EU AI Act requires whoever publishes a realistic AI image, audio or video of a person (a "deep fake" in the Act's terms) to disclose that it is AI-made. Every platform here that allows AI content already requires a label. This is a summary, not legal advice.
